Alex Sanchez recently graduated from Carnegie Mellon with a Master's in Chemical Engineering and Master's of Science in Engineering Technology and Innovation Management.

Through this program, Alex became interested in entrepreneurship and started working with a professor in Mechanical Engineering to commercialize a new battery technology. He has participated in three I-Corps programs related to this research.

Prior to graduate school, Alex worked as a senior process engineer at Ecolab, working on product development and scaleup. He has previously been active with the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, and other professional development organizations.
