The NSF I-Corps Mid-Atlantic Hub completed a hub-wide cohort on January 24, hosting 14 academic research-based teams. Participating teams’ areas of focus  ranged from AI applications to medical devices, transportation logistics, environmental technologies, and more. Collectively, teams completed an average of more than  12 customer discovery interviews. 

Most participants will be eligible for the NSF I-Corps Teams program, where they can receive $50,000 to conduct further customer discovery.

The next Hub opportunity for a regional cohort will be held in March, also in collaboration with Morgan State University.
